About Us

Company Background

Dimension Companies are a group of operating entities and SPE investment vehicles that the Neary family is involved with. Dimension was organized in 1975 and has participated in over 200 real estate investment projects over the years. While real estate has been our primary focus, we have invested in restaurants, retail hospitality, activist stock investing, and most recently tech. We have built the company based on relationships and have worked with the same investors and lenders for decades. We pride ourselves on “repeat business” and the fact that we have never been involved in partner litigation – not once.

Michael Neary founded the enterprise and family members have acted as directors, members of the investment committee, and in an advisory capacity over the years.

Meet Our Leadership Team

President and Founder

Michael L. Neary President and Founder

Mr. Neary is a serial entrepreneur opening his first business while attending the University of Texas. While attending law school, he opened Rhett Butler’s – a high end prime rib and lobster restaurant. Rhett’s was sold in 1974 and in 1975, the gain was redeployed to On Your Mark, an early entrant into the athletic shoe store business. After four stores were open in Simon malls, Melvin personally invested in the company and it grew exponentially, and was sold to Foot Locker in 1979, giving them an entrée into Texas.
